(CAN) Airport Phase III ULD Mobile Robot Project

As a core aviation hub in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (CAN) is the second major cargo airport in China—following Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG)—to introduce HuiiYun’s omnidirectional ULD mobile robots on a large scale. This marks the large-scale commercialization of HuiiYun's air cargo automation solutions, setting a benchmark for the intelligent upgrading of global air cargo terminals.

The cargo zone of the CAN Airport Phase III Expansion Project covers a total area of 254,000 square meters. Upon completion, the annual cargo and mail processing capacity will increase to 3.8 million tons.Facing the dual challenges of surging business volume and the demand for efficient, safe, and flexible operations, the airport urgently needed to break through the bottlenecks of traditional manual and semi-automated transport. Leveraging its technological advantages in heavy-load capacity, high precision, and flexible navigation, HuiiYun successfully won the bid to provide a fully automated, end-to-end, and intelligent ULD transport solution for both the East and West Cargo Terminals.
